30-day return window
You may request a return within 30 days of confirmed delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, unwashed, complete, and in their original packaging with all tags, instructions, and accessories.
Items that cannot be returned
For hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept returns of opened teethers, bath toys, or comfort items, or of any product that has been mouthed, washed, or used, unless it is defective. Gift wrapping fees, personalized items, and items clearly marked “final sale” before purchase are non-returnable.
How to start a return
- Email contact@sprouthouse.toys (or use our contact form) with your order number, the item(s), and the reason.
- We reply within 1 business day with return instructions and the return address.
- Ship the item within 14 days of receiving instructions. Please use a trackable service; we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Return shipping costs
If the return is due to our error or a defective or damaged item, we provide a prepaid return label. For all other returns, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Refunds
We inspect returns within 3 business days of receipt. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (through Stripe or Square) for the item price and any applicable tax. Your bank or card issuer typically posts the credit within 5-10 business days.
Items returned incomplete, used, or damaged after delivery may receive a partial refund reflecting the missing or damaged portion, or may be sent back to you. We will explain any deduction in writing before issuing the refund. We do not charge restocking fees.
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. Return the eligible item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want.
Defective items and safety concerns
If an item is defective, damaged, or raises a safety concern, stop using it, keep it away from children, and contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will replace or fully refund it, including shipping. Your statutory consumer rights are not limited by this policy.
Please contact us first
If there is a problem with a charge, please contact us before disputing it with your card issuer. We can usually resolve issues faster directly.
