Secure, PCI DSS-compliant processing
All card payments are processed by Stripe or Square, both certified PCI DSS Level 1 service providers, the highest level of payment-industry certification. You enter card details on their secure hosted checkout pages. Sprout House never sees, receives, or stores your full card number or security code.
Encryption
Our entire website is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption, and browsers are instructed to always use a secure connection. Payment pages hosted by Stripe and Square are also fully encrypted.
Accepted payment methods
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay (availability depends on your device and the processor). All charges are in U.S. dollars (USD) and appear on your statement as SPROUT HOUSE or SPROUT HOUSE LLC.
Fraud and card-testing protection
We limit repeated checkout attempts, block automated submissions, validate all prices on our server, and use our processors’ fraud tools (such as Stripe Radar, CVC and address verification, and 3D Secure where required) to detect card testing and unauthorized transactions. Orders flagged as potentially fraudulent may be canceled and refunded.
Card network rules
We follow the Visa Core Rules, Mastercard Rules, American Express Merchant Regulations, and Discover Global Network operating rules, including clear pricing and currency, posting refund and cancellation terms before purchase, and prompt handling of refunds and disputes.
